Dive Into Medicine! Zoom Seminar [November 2nd, 2024]
The TEA Proposal is collaborating with current University of Arizona Pre-Med and Med Students to host an online Zoom session for high school students to learn about medicine and the pre-med track!
We will have a panel of pre-med and medical students from the University of Arizona speaking about their experience and providing advice about navigating medicine and healthcare! You can learn about pre-med and medical school classes, research opportunities, healthcare careers, applying to medical school, and more! There will also be a Q&A session at the end where you can ask any remaining questions.
Additionally, if you would like further involvement in the field of medicine, there is a possibility that we can connect you to current Medical Students who can mentor you.
2nd Annual Law Student Shadowing Event [March 22nd, 2023]
The TEA Proposal and the Student Bar Association of the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona are hosting an in-person law student shadowing event on March 22nd, 2023. Event activities will include sitting-in law classes, touring buildings, attending seminars, and having lunch and Q&A with law students.
Please fill out the registration form below if you are interested in attending! We are offering this opportunity to 20 high school students, and students will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. If selected, you will receive more information via email after completing registration.
Dive Into Engineering! Zoom Seminar [December 4, 2022]
The TEA Proposal is collaborating with Dr. Kimberly Ogden to host an online Zoom session for high school students to learn about engineering, what engineers do, and what engineering research entails! Additionally, if you would like further involvement in the field of engineering, there is a possibility that we can connect you to UArizona faculty members who can offer research internship positions at the event.
Gaining Healthcare Experience Event [September 3rd, 2022]
Ever wondered how you can gain healthcare experience as a high school student? We have the perfect opportunity for you!

The TEA Proposal is holding an event on September 3rd, 2022 via Zoom to connect high school students to healthcare professionals. Those attending can hear from an EMT, CNA, phlebotomist and more about gaining healthcare experience in high school.

Law Student Shadowing Event [March 16th, 2022]

Neuroscience Lab Research [October 2021 to December 2021]
Dr. Melville Wohlgemuth has graciously agreed to host an intern to work in his lab through The TEA Proposal!

Specifically, the intern will be researching the neuroscience behind the sensory integration of stimuli and behaviors associated with long-term goal planning. This is a wonderful opportunity for any highly motivated high school student to get involved with research at a premier research university!
